Depending on the system of course, I would put the Merlin somewhat to the right (more insistent, assertive) than any of the Harbeths; but yes, both are to the right of the Offrandes, at least the re-voiced Offrrandes, which have been on the market for nearly a year now. I have not heard Merlins with all-tube or OTL amps, so it is possible tubes would bring them back a step or two. I heard them on Blue Circle BC 2.1 hybrid monoblocks.
