Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Re: Energy C-3's?

IMO Energy speakers are definitely a step up from Klipsch. I heard them with a Denon 4802 and the sounded great. Klipsch bass is at times overpowering but Energy seems to be really well rounded. I, too, have the same problem with no local dealers but I have found that if you call or email the distributor or dealer of a particular speaker, he/she will set you up with a good return policy...usually 30 days...that will allow you to audition speakers at home without purchasing them. Revel's distributor, Madrigal, was the only one so far that has turned me down. This guy Duke here at the Asylum says he will pay for shipping if you want to audition his Cliffhanger speakers. He posts here alot so he might be trustworthy. His email is Duke@audiokinesis.com. Hope this helps.
