I own the Classic Gold Towers which were the top model before the aerogel mid was added. They have Vifa sourced aluminum domes and are very airy and spacious. Good imaging,a wide soundstage and the bass is low-range and powerfull, rivalling my subwoofer. They would be hard to beat in their pricerange. They are not warm sounding if that is what you prefer. Discounted I think they would be a steal
