I haven't heard the NSM but I do own the Aperion monitors. They are actually quite good. I could listen to them for hours. They can be placed anywhere and sound great, they are smooth and have very good imaging and detail. For the money, they are a steal and an undiscovered one at that.Finally, the Diaural is not a gimmick, it works. People will argue it has been around and can't be patented, but the bottom line is that it is a series crossover and they are very inherently smooth.
