I own a HK AVR 7000, and its a great receiver.
Of course, its not as good as my 4000.00 Audire Parlando Pure class A 85 lb monster, but its a musical piece for a receiver, and the 8000 uses the same amp.
The 7000 should do the trick, try it, and you can always pick up an amp and use the preouts.
