Thanks for the education.I didn't actually look for phase coherent designs, just listened for sound I like, so I hadn't really noticed the correspondence. But of the non-phase-coherent ones I heard, the ProAcs were certainly the most seamless, more so than the Thiels or Vandersteens, about the same as the Meadowlarks. I figured it had more to do with 2-way vs 3-way. All the 3-ways had a fuller, easier sound but also had a tendency to overload the room and have a much taller sound, which to me is less realistic (orchestras, for example, aren't stacked).Thanks for the suggestion of the BAT and Pass.
