I think I understand you. I think the part that confuses me is that the new Paradigm Studio Ref 20's have a sensitivity rating of 89. The Monitor Bronze 2's had a rating of 90 and the Aegis One's were about 88 or 89, I think. Numerically they seem so close--but while the Paradigms are clearly superior in sound, they require more crank on the volume. Guess I should do a bit of reading on the subject.
