the ProAc response D15 or 1.5 with a Vandersteen 2wq sub. The beautiful thing about this sub is that is takes the load off the amp ,helps the mid woofer out by lowering the distortion and blends with it. It will also help with bass at lower listening levels. I have a very similar room size to you and this combo works great with 50 watt per channel or less. I choose solid state (Audio Refinement). For the same price as the 2.5 this combo might just BLOW AWAY the 2.5's that you love. If you live in the South Florida area, your more than welcome to take a listen.
