Patrick,How can/would you help with this problem of needing a longer cable in the future? Cost? How about higher quality and shielded?
Also, one person recently talked about how replacing the cable with a custom one from The Cable Company really improved the performance. I believe the cable was XLO (not sure what model). Do you have any comments? I remember reading that Sumiko did some tests and couldn't detect a difference (I may have learned of this via a phone call). How about power cords?
