I have the Proac 1SCs and prefer them compared to the Merlin TSMs that I have heard on numerous occasions. Notice I did not say Proacs are better. If you prefer speed, transparency, I think the Merlins are superior. Something about the Proac sound I like. I haven't heard the VSMs but am now very intrigued based on comments below. If they are really that much superior to the 2.5s they must be pretty damn good!
