I've had a pair of Beethovens for 1 1/2 years, and remain enormously happy with them. They're paired with monoblock ss amps putting out 70/75w, and in my listening space--around 20x16x8.5--I can drive them at a high volume level without any difficuliy, and with excellent bass response. No experience with the Silverlines, but I don't know why you think 120w won't be enough for the Beethovens, and in any case don't think you should give up on speakers you seem to like for ones you haven't actually listened to.
