I read JTD's review of the studio 100's and totally disagree. I feel reviews should only be offered by owners of equipment as a 10 minute listen in a store is not even close to a critical listening session.When a person sits down to read a novel it takes about 20 minutes to get into deep concentration and music is no different.I own the studio 100's and have them powered by a bryston 3b amp and bryston bp20 preamp with nordost blue heaven interconnects.The speaker wire i'm using is the Canare 4s11 bywire at 15 foot lengths. I love the sound of the 100's,the tight full base,the beautiful and full midrange and the perfect treble that has a wide range that is smooth and never grates on a person.Another note is that all cd's are produced different and the better cd you listen to the better any speaker will sound.
