truly amazing. Possibly akin to the Silver Knights mentioned below. An eveloping 'spooky' sound with outstanding imaging and soundstaging. Certainly on the warm side, that 'palpable' midrange, but no slouch in bass control or extension, or detail and extension.
No doubt, it would lack the control of a of a ss amp, the the combo was magical.
