Alpha-core Goertz MI2 with Hales Revelation 3's ?

I have read on these pages that certain ampplifier and cable combinations can lead to blown tweeters in the Hales Rev 3's. It seems to be limited to Nordost cables and Plinius amps. I currently run my Hales with Audioquest type 4 from a Yamaha M80 amplifier. I have really gotten to like the sound of the speakers when driven by the Yamaha and I am trying to upgrade around them. The cables that I am considering are the Alpha-core Goertz MI2. They are favorably reviewed and should be able to handle the very high power demands of the Hales. I am a bit worried about my tweeters though. Any ideas on what might happen?
