I have both pairs still. I can tell you the the extra money for the concerto is money well spent. The concertino is too light on bass to faithfully reproduce most music. Having said that I couldn't bring myself to sell my concertinos and will use them as a second pair and as surrounds for my main system.
By the way concertos need at lease 60 watts to shine and sound great with tube gear. Also the REL Strata sub-woofer goes well with either sonus faber.
