Well,
I have not heard of the discovery. I do know of several people who built both the Emerald and the MB1's(same as the AV1 but with a different crossover) and all prefer the MB1's. Danny will also state that his design is superior.
I just finnished constructing the AV1's and am currently working on MB1's and will post my opinions. With the SS mid-fi amplification I'm using, I do not expect to hear much of a difference between the MB1's and AV1's. I am very pleased with the AV1's however. They are Fantastic speakers!
