Thank you for your suggestions. Your setup does offer some ideas I could use. However, you didn't mention how/where you positioned your Diamonds. Since you moved your monitor off the desk, I presume you put the Diamonds on the far sides of the desk itself. Do you have problems with acoustic coupling with the desk (vibration) etc?I agree that home offices are typically not the largest/best room in the house :-) so setting up any ambitious system is almost impossible. The problem is that I spend most of my music listening there, and I want the best/most involving sound I can get within the compromises. I tried couple of other speakers with ports on the back (Signet 260, Epos M12) and it was a disaster - so much bass I felt I was in the speaker enclosure :-). By now I realized that to get any success, I need to use good but small, front-ported or sealed speakers (NHT?) that sound fine in a small room and about 12'' from the back wall.
