Yer not going to obtain an optimal solution placementwise,
in a home office that small with that much stuff....A nearfield solution is in your best interest.
Nice thing about home offices is they provide an
opportunity to experiment with some things
that a main system would "never" have an
opportunity to do....Small monitors on tubes.
My home office is 12x12 with 3 doors and a large window
I also have a daybed in here for guests etc.
I 45 degreed my desk in the corner and placed my
huge 21 inch monitor on a wood pylon "behind" the
desk to get it back from my face......the nice
thing is, since i got that big lug off my desk,
I had room for some audio stuff right on the desk...Took a pair of old wharfedale diamonds I had
in a closet and hooked them up to a Jolida
tube integrated putting out around 11 watts....
and I use the M-AUdio 24/96 from the pc
to the tube amp and I experience a
very involving, musical sound that really
is always an amazement to me...Don't sweat the placement or that it's not
perfect for listening......save that
anality for your main room.........just
enjoy some experimentation in there.
