I just got a pair of Tyler Acoustics 7U speakers. I substituted a Seas Milllenium tweeter for the standard Scanspeak Revelator. I like the sound, but have never heard the speaker with the Revelator. I made my choice based on advice from a Portland distributor of T.A. speakers. I e-mailed Israel Blume, who uses the Revelator in his Super Eclipse with the same two mid/woofers as the 7Us, and he said that he had compared the two and found the Revelator smoother. I'm not going to agonize over my choice because I really like the sound of these speakers. The difference is, I suspect, marginal and a matter of taste.
Is there anyone out there who can comment on this comparison?
