Hey, layman, nice to be thanked for my review. Didn't know I did
anything special in my review. :)

Ivis, I haven't heard the Pacific centre unit for more than five
minutes at a dealer showroom. It has the same finish, the same
drive units, as the normal Pacifics. (That much you can see from
the photos.) The sound is very Pacific, but the bass is weaker.
I am probably not the right person to comment anything more on
the centre units, because I am simply not a home theatre person,
and I didn't pay any attention to the centre unit on display.

And about Indian music, most of the pop music is songs, not
instrumental, and they are as eminently forgettable as any pop
music elsewhere. If you want light listenable Indian music, I
can try sending you some. Email me, and we can talk. And talking
about good Indian music in Hollywood movies, I am constantly
haunted by one piece in Sean Penn-Susan Sarandon's "Dead Man
Walking". This was a joint piece by Bruce Springsteen and
the late singer-composer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. It was played
at the end of the film, when the credits were scrolling off the
screen. That piece gives me goose pimples whenever I see the movie
on TV. (Exceptional film too, for that matter. Hollywood does not
deserve performers as good as Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn. :)
