I purchased Spark III three weeks ago and absolutely love them. When first setting them up they sounded harsh with no bass but after 50 hours or so they broke in nicely. In my opinion, the bass is very strong and the midrange is not overdone but has great detail and life. I have read that people think the treble is rolled off but I disagree with that statement. As for placement, the dealer where I auditioned them placed them far apart also and I do as well and they work great. Feel free to email with questions.
