Hey there...I just listened to the Spark and Tempo IIIi last week, at the U.S. distributor's retail location in CA. Retail is $2500 and $3500, respectively, for the basic finish (oak or black, I think). Cherry adds another couple hundred. The cabinets are beautiful. Both models are have single binding posts.I thought these AP sounded good, but I wasn't thrilled with the midrange on either - imo, voices sounded smoother and more "real" on some other brands I've auditioned recently (Dynaudio, Joseph Audio). The dealer also had the AP's positioned very far apart - further away from each other than from the listening position, from what I could tell. I don't know if this made a difference, or if it's something particular to the AP. There's a white paper on www.immediasound.com that might explain. They were also very far into the room, which is apparently recommended. Electronics included Rogue Audio, Hovland, and a Rega Planet.
From what I've heard about SF's pronounced midrange, the AP are probably quite different from your speakers? Give them a listen if you can, and good luck -- Steven
