Seems to me that finding dealers of the real hi end stuff around Boston is kinda difficult. More selection if you can travel to Providence, Nashua, Burlington, et al.If you haven't been there yet, may want to check out Audio Lab in Harvard Sq. They carry the Triangle line, which would make finding a suitable amp easier, and Monitor Audio, which I think have a pretty striking sound (at first listen anyway). Then there's the Morel distributor in Brookline who has his own line, including t-lines and bookshelves. Details @ www.morelusa.com
Think the bookshelf option is the only way to go. Don't see how you'd possibly configure a stat or planar in current or future rooms, assuming you'd need at least 3ft behind 'em.
