I bought the REL Strata III after trying several.
1) The xover freq can be set in small steps from 22 to 95 hz, there's phase control (0,180) - seamless with 2 channel stereo
2) there's a seperate input for LFE with seperate controls. this bypass the low pass filter - you can use the two input simultanously.
clever!I use mine for movie effects too! not the best for movies (does not have the impact of velodyne) but for someone who listen to music most of the time, this is the ultimate sub.
