Re: Besides Totem, what works well with Sim Audio amps?

I have Sim Celeste amps with a Rotel 971 cd player and Cardas Twinlinks with Kimber ic's and it all sounds just fine with my Studio 80's from Paradigm. The speakers do require a really long break in period, but during and after break in the speakers are amazing. I've never tried a dac with my cd player so I can't comment on that. You might want to try the Studio 60's in your room for bass, but be sure to adjust the speakers to tighten the bass, or they may sound boomy. I've tilted the speakers back using the spikes and raised them a touch by placing them on pucks, bringing the tweeter to appoximately the height of the Studio 100's, thus bringing out the effects of the midrange driver, and it works for me. I've listened to the Studio 20's and less expensive Paradigms but I wasn't impressed. I've also heard Moon amps with Dynaudio, as another poster mentioned and it's awesome, but these were very high priced speakers. Triangle speakers might also work but I've never heard them in my system.
