DQ-10 mini- surround speaker idea! Only the TRULY insane apply!!!

For those of you who are familiar with Dahlquist DQ-10 loudspeakers, and are not faint of heart, I have just aquirred an extra pair of the 5" midrange drivers. I am toying with the idea of 'creating' a rear/surround DQ-10 for use in my music system. the idea came to me based on the old Dynaco/Hafler matrix theory. i have an extra power amp with about 50W/pc @4 ohms. I was thinking of the open baffle concept with a tweeter midrange, and woofer. Of course here lies the problem.

Does anyone have recommendation for a tweeter, not only for the new speakers, but for the DQ-10s? I still have the stock ones in the DQ-10s, but I have heard of some people replacing them. A poster many moons ago (by the moniker of 'glapazz', I think, its in the search engine, but no Email address) recommended a Scan speak model. These would most likely have to be crossed over lower than usual, due to the stock midrange crossover schematic's crossover point, or possibly raising the midrange drivers LP cutoff, by redesigning the crossover.

What about woofers for the surround speaker? Nothing big, as they won't have to do much below 60hz (sub is taking care of the bottom end).

I also assume that I would need to experiment GREATLY with the crossover design. I have the orginal DQ-10 schematics, and I thought of making the crossover points the same for each end of the midrange driver and then getting the rest 'voiced' in.

Any takers on the above idea? By that I mean anyone caring to share their thoughts, good or bad... I know this is a SERIOUS undertaking, to say the least, but if it could be done, I can only imagine the sound!!!

TIA!!!
