Kevin, good to hear. I think this particular spendor (s-3) seem to embody a degree of refinement over the s 3/5. The bass to my ears were for sure gentlier indicating a softer roll-off. The mids seem to retain its bloom albeit its less commanding tone, with the treble sounding less emphatic or aggressive than the 3/5. That's all for now.
