The Sc has a phase plug if I recall in the center of the woofer. This means that the voice coil has an ability to gather dust inbetween the coil and magnet. If you CAREFULLY put a small piece of paper into the gap between the phase plug and coil you may push away some dust that can get in there. I had a set of Focal's that did the same thing and the problem did go away.Also some luck can be had with canned air.
Be CAREFULL or you could damage. If you have doubt/concern, don't do it.
