What's up Mer.I have heard some of the Proac models(tablet 2000,1SC) and they are nice but overpriced. The Spendor S3/5 is a much better speaker. If you want more gusto in the bottom end and overall ease in the total sound buy a cheap sub.The key is to dial the sub in right. The sub I have heard and liked for a cheap price was the polk PS250(their smallest sub).Very musical. The best way to run it would be from the speaker outputs on your amp to the line inputs on the back of the sub.I order to do this you need to use a 3.3uf film cap in parallel with a 10K resistor. This way you run the speakers in augmented mode much like the way REL recommends you hook up their subs which people seem to love because of their good intergration with a wide range of speakers, especially British minimonitors.
