Well I haave to admit I never looked inside to check the wire! As I said, I bought them for their sound. I'll leave the design and engineering to the experts. I can tell you that when I bought the Focus, I had compared them to other speakers, one of which touts itself for having internal wiring by Cardas - and I still selected the Focus based on it's sound (still a matter of personal taste). The point is - driver quality, quality and configuration of the crossovers, driver configuration and enclosure design should all have a much more significant impact on the speaker's sound than the wires to the binding posts, within limits. As long as my Focus sound beautifully musical and realistic to me, I'll probably never open them to check that they are adequately wired - as I said, I'll trust the designer to take care of that. You could inquire with Legacy. I wouldn't count on the salesman to have any technical info - when I auditioned mine the salesman wasn't too knowledgable - but if you contact legacy directly their technical assistance people are very helpful. Get their number from their web site at www.legacy-audio.com
