I drive a pair of 1.4s with a Bryston 3B ST (200+ wpc @ 4 ohms) in
a medium sized room, at very moderate volume levels. I drive a pair
of MMGs with a 70 wpc McIntosh integrated in a room about same size,
at about same volume level. The gain on the Mac is cranked to about
2 oclock to get a decent volume level; the gain on the Bryston is at
about 11 oclock. Draw your own conclusions. Mike.
