Built per factory design from kits. I am using three Emeralds with a Titan for the front end of HT. Very spacious sound stage, exceptional clarity on female vocals and DVD dialog. Uses Vifa shielded drivers. The Emerald does a great job on rock/jazz. A little less depth on orchestral music. Benefits from tweaking. Best to "stuff" ports with subwoofer. This is a great choice for those seeking a rock solid, shielded mini monitor. Small enough to stand vertically for center channel use. More than adequate output for my large great room. ACI service, quality are the best I've encountered.
