RE: 10 x 20 listening room question

I was looking at the 4401 information and saw those are near field monitors. How far do you sit from them? Also, do you use the triangle set up, where the speakers point at you and the lines make a triangle with your sitting position being the point? I was thinking if you were too far from them and the room is reflective, it could cause the speakers to sound not their best.

How do you like the CV's by themselves?

As the 4401 are studio monitors, you may want to also consider what you have upstream feeding them. If the source leans bright, or other electronics, in the chain, that's what you will hear.

My experience with KEF the highs are extended, the sound is balanced overall but I wouldn't call them "warm".
