Hi Charles. Do you have a receiver or amp that doesn't have a low level output & a sub that has a low level input? I have used a RadioShack car stereo line out converter to send a low level ( RCA ) signal to another amp. I just hooked it up in parallel to the speaker outputs. It does not effect impedence! Your subwoofer would crossover the lows to the sub.
