Your shouldn't damage the speakers unless some how the Mac went into hard clipping. Only issue may be the Palladiums aren't driven to their potential, but they are 94dB. I'd just give it a try and see how you like it. It could also depend on the type of output tubes the MC30's have. As an example a 6550 or KT88 would have more drive than an EL34.
Interesting Klipsch made those 4 ohms, typically Klipsch have been 8 ohms. Looks like your amp does have a 4 ohm tap though. Also some versions of the MC30 have a variable damping control that could help, if you have it I'd at least play with it to see if it helps.
