Have you listened to a REL? There may well be some good reasons to select the Rythimik subwoofer over the REL but to eliminate a high quality product like the REL from consideration because you find their website "annoying to read" seems like somewhat of an arbitrary decision based upon factors unrelated to the sonic attributes of the products you are considering. I'm not sure what specifically you found annoying about the website but I was able to find basic specifications and comparisons between their models and most importantly they have a helpful dealer locater where you can listen to the sub and ask the questions that were not adequately addressed on the company website.
