I have to agree. As modest as the supplied REL cable ( 35' no less) appears, it gets the job done. I've got the Signal Cable REL compatible as well, but nothing earth shattering happened when I switched. I DIYed a power cord as well, but I'd have to say the goodness of the REL is just fine if left completely stock.
