RE: Recommend a good 10" 4 ohm midrange driver for under $150 for ESS AMT1

So it's really more of a mid-woofer, crossed over at 600 Hz.

If you have a working woofer or can find it's basic specs such as Vas, Qt, impedance, and efficiency you may be able to find something somewhat close, but that's very unusual. Speaker drivers are like eyeglasses. Buying one that fits your frames is the least of your worries. :)

It's not trivial, but it's also not rocket science to buy a good 10" driver reasonably close and re-work the crossover. It does take skill, tools and patience however.

You may want to take your question over to the DIYAudio Multi-way speaker forum where there are probably fans with more data. You may even find some one who can help you find a previus fan of those speakers who has already gone through the trouble.

Best,

Erik
