RE: Recommend a good 10" 4 ohm midrange driver for under $150 for ESS AMT1

Well, specs say 600 Hz. The orig. 10" should have no problem
getting there...check for old electrolytic capacitors, and just replace
them.

Also...I think the 10" uses a felt/fabric dustcap?. You can replace
those with a paper type that should help upper mid response.

You will see paper or aluminum caps on "extended range" woofers
(for a reason).
