RE: Expected Lifetime of a horn driver ?

Thanks very much for the replies - sounds like age is not an issue.

I was looking at an early YL speaker with a bit of interest, but figured that repair would be complex to impossible. Good that well kept equipment will last 'forever'. At early 60s myself, the lasting horizon is not so challenging (for the speakers).

I would be interested in opinions on the differences between YL and Klipsch/EV horns & drivers - yes, I realize it is all personal opinion. The YL seems to be much touted, but not sure if that is rarity, mystic, or reality. Probably should start another post?

regards -- Roger
