I had a BASH amp in a Kef THX sub.
I had bought the sub second hand.
Soon after I bought it, the amp developed problems: first the level control stopped working, then from time to time it would be idle and suddenly would start amplifying noise in an exponential way, making you believe a rocket was taking off in the living room. VERY scary. I ended up getting rid of the amp and replacing it with a different plate amp, but the latter was never able to drive the big heavy KEF woofer like the bash amp. I now use the same plate amp but with a high sensitivity Beyma driver in a big, reflex enclosure and it works fine.
I don't think I'll ever buy something with a BASH amplifier again: sounds great, but unreliable (as I've seen other people online with same or different problems)
