RE: Lpad or autoformer

Thanks. You made me realize that since I am using the oppo remote controlled volume capability, when in the 1st floor room, any sonic effect it has is just passed on through the audible illusions preamp. I'll do some listening using only one or the other and if I hear no difference I'll be connecting the oppo directly to the amp. That eliminates the need for an L-pad or volume pot in the first floor.
