So they are earlier Thiels 30 plus years old. We took in a few in trade around 2000. The foam surrounds on the woofers needed replacing. They were about $650 new.

These differ from most modern Thiels in that they are an 8 ohm load. When
People talk of Thiels as being less efficient and tougher to drive they are talking about the four ohm ones with efficiencies in the mid 80's. Some amps also dont do as well with a four ohm load that I think with Thiel is more like 3.2 ohms I think.

The 04A just has a 6.5 inch woofer and no passive radiator like the later version. Not a lot of bass. Shouldnt be too hard to drive but I couldnt find an efficiency figure. I hope they work out for you.
