RE: Dayton Audio B652-AIR

Well, I did ending up modding them.....................

Added 5-way binding posts.
Doubled the amount of cabinet stuffing material.
Reversed polarity on the AMT tweeters.
Added a 6 ohm resistor, to replace the existing 3 ohm.
Removed the stock 6.8uf electrolytic capacitor, and replaced with a first order polypropylene cap/air inductor Xover at 4Khz.
And............................

The top end isn't nearly as HOT, and is much better balanced with the woofer.
With the inductor in place, the woofer no longer runs full range.
The addition cabinet stuffing certainly helps with the lower registers.
And the 5-way binding posts add MUCH greater flexibility with speaker cable.

Yeah, it's a winner now..........................................
