General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

This is a question about certain songs. I like the way my system sounds, and it is pretty predictable. Except for 2 songs. The first is "Low" by Flo Rida. The bass SPL is very different depending on listener location. The second is "Auld Lang Syne" by Street Corner Symphony. That bass frequency shakes everything except the speaker cabinets. Listen to them if you can. No other song seems to do this. I would love an explanation as it will help me understand room dynamics better.
