You need the Kube with them.
Also, Bass Drivers will need new Foam Surrounds, maybe soon.
I have 104.2 from 1988, and I replaced the Bass Drivers, and recently the tweeters, as well as having the Kube bypass the push buttons with a wired-bypass, as they had gotten corroded and became intermittent in passing signal.
They sound great now.
