You could do a lot worse. About a decade ago, I went through almost their entire line, upgrading from one model to the next. Started with the Taylo, then the Linbrook monitors, then the two-piece Reference 1 (in macassar ebony), and finished up with the Linbrook Signatures in teak. The wait times for the builds were not excessive and Ty kept me informed through the process and even sent pics during the builds. They were all pleasant sounding and relaxing to listen to, with the Reference 1 providing the best bass in my room. Very nice speakers, but not in the same league as my current Merlins. Ty is a great guy to do business with, and as honest as they come. The closest approximation to their house sound among other speakers I've owned would be the Joseph Audio RM 25 XL.
