For those prices I quote a phrase from the movie Full Metal Jacket "you better be shitting me Tiffany cufflinks sweet heart".
I have a lot of the old school still lingering in me. I still feel the only way I see a real full range speaker is you're gonna need at least one honking big woofer.
However, I do feel that a good subwoofer monitor is a fantastic sounding setup. When that is done right it really is magic.
So in the end shouldn't a speaker just be a true conductor or the signal that is put into it. I believe that has already been done many times. And even at a fraction of the cost. So know it's all about window dressing.
