What you are asking is essentially a measure of power supply robustness.
A true (mythical) voltage source amp will double power as impedance HALVES.
About the only thing that can be said without a test bench and dummy load is that the 8ohm power will be LESS than the 6 ohm rating, all other things being equal.
What is the sensitivity of the speakers in question? If in the 'very high' category, you only need a few watts for loud. If very INSENSITIVE, you might be able to make-do in a smaller room or at lower levels. If at the same time, the speaker is Highly Reactive (looks like a capacitor or inductor to the amp) you might not have enough power for satisfying levels. This would go double for an amp which was incapable of driving into such loads.
Resistive testing of amps is, IMO, a poor joke.
But I also only know of ONE Reactive standard which makes sense and few if Anybody uses it and even fewer would advertise the result.
Too much is never enough
