There are a few tube amplifiers that offer 2 ohm taps, VAC and Bob Carver come to mind. In an effort to avoid narrowing their potential market, some speaker designers are often reticent to divulge the amplifier used to voice their design. Obviously, it's not necessary to use that amplifier but knowing its character can be beneficial in making your selection.
If you enjoy the distortional nature of tube amplifiers and value hearing all the bass the recording has to offer then an infinitely adjustable subwoofer/s could be the icing on your cake.
